Brief Description:  Flaperon Leading Edge Foldover

Finished the pilot side inboard flaperon, cut an hour off the time of the first one.

Used a cargo strap, shortened as much as possible with the the connector hooks underneath the flaperon. Used a 3', 2x4 (probably a 2x3 would be even better, even shorter would be good too). Tightened the strap just enough to get the fold coming over. The 2x4 will slip around but you can push it back because it's not overly tight. I have heard a rubber mat under the 2x4 is helpful but I didn't need it. You also need to keep the 2x4 back enough to make sure you maintain access to the holes so you can get the clecos in. Once you have the skin over, muscle it down with a cleco into a hole...best to start at an end about 3 or 4 holes in from the end and just work toward the middle, once you get a couple in you're good to go. Cleco every other hole and then rivet. A small piece of wood screwed into the table along the edge helps your leverage.
