Brief Description: Hooked the engine up to the Engine Air Dryer
I have a Engine Air Dryer I made from a kit supplied by Barker Aircraft
Essentially the unit pushes air by way of an aquarium pump through silica that absorbs moisture. There is a humidistat embedded within the silica that when saturation is reached, will turn on a 75 watt light bulb that will dry the silica out...constantly ensuring a flow of dry air through the engine. I also added silica spark plug holders in all 8 spark plug holes. These I will change periodically when the silica changes color. I will bake the silica in a 275 degree oven and reuse it.
