Took a while to get the fuel lines right, especially the short one...so easy to make mistakes, like flaring the tube before having the fitting in place, yikes...gotta cut it off and start over. I'm using 1/2" 5052 tubing and I'm also plumbing the vent line even though my engine is not fuel injected. I will run 1/2" lines all the way to the header tank. I really like the fuel system the guys from Skytek came up with for the Rotax 912is...it's tested and foolproof. From the header tank I will run one 3/8" line to the engine.
There will be an access panel in the wings trailing edge right where I have terminated the lines. I added a support to the vent line coming along the rear spar and used a bulkhead fitting there. I need to order a AN 815 Male to Male Union for the short line...no support needed on that one. All the nuts get orange torque seal when completed.
