Brief Description: Riveted Fin, Fabbed Brackets, Lower Fin Skin
Riveted the new Vertical Fin I received from Zenith because I found out the one they shipped me with the kit had some improperly sized parts, so all my previous labor was for naught...however I'm glad I got the new one and since it is all now final hole and match drilled, it literally went together in an hour. Took longer to deburr and prime mating parts than to rivet it.
I also made the two brackets that rivet to the H-Stab that the fin gets riveted to. There is a compound curve in these brackets, so took a little while.
I started on the lower fin skin, which I have to say is one of the hardest parts to fit...need 4 hands. The first thing though was getting the center of the vertical fin and the fuselage and also of the lower fin skin.
