So there is a Mandatory Service Bulletin on the H-Stab due to a tail coming off of a CH-601A in Canada. There is also a thread on the 701 Forum, that details what another pilot found upon his inspection (a plane he didn't build). The service bulletin requires annual inspection and also stresses that no pressure should be put on the tabs that connect the front of the H-Stab to the airplane. I found there is a gap that should be taken up with washers or a part you make. See pic. Mine required 3 thin washers on one side and two on the other. See my link in the thread for the washers on McMaster Carr....obviously for the side requiring two washers I could use one penny washer, which obviously again is thicker.

More on this later...there is a way to do inspection holes w/o making the vertical fin removeable. Once I have everything together, I'll update.
