Update: I ended up screwing up the elevator skin...move on to post from November 10, 2016.
OK so this is the most complicated component so far...lots of little parts and detail to get it right. I had a hell of a time with the rear channel and the L brackets to left and right...I screwed up the sequence and had holes in the wrong place on the L brackets so I had to enklarge the size of the brackets by using some new material and the bending brake...I made them 40MM wide on each wing and was able to get them in and drill. The rest of it goes together fairly straightforwardly...just lots of clecoing in place and then taking apart. I added additional 40mm doublers under both horns to take up the space, since the horns sit on the rear channel bracket. I have it pretty much together, working on the Ray Allen Servo now.
