Brief Description: prep for inside paint; clean and prep paint guns
Clean 2 paint gun kits form HF with mineral sprits and then water. Zolatone instructions call for a spray tip of 2.0-2.4 mm (.080-.090). Largest HF tip was 1.8mm. Decided to try to drill it out to .082, #42 drill, which should be about 2.2mm. Worked great! Used the 1.8 tip rod without modification.
This would be my first attempt with a HVLP spray gun. In hindsight, I probably could have gotten away with no masking of the space. There was very little overspray with the HVLP gun.
