Manual calls for bending some .05 T6061 aluminum to have 1" tabs along the sides of the console. I do not have a brake and I think it would be a mess to try to bend it; it is such a prominent piece visually.
Decided to do a 3 BID layup on a form I made out of a box with release tape. I think it turned out pretty well so far... will see how it looks after cure. Put the heat lamps on to get things going since I had to leave to go do some work on N144GP
