Brief Description:  hang engine; pickle

Fabbed foam plug to be unsed with nitrile gloves to plug exhaust pipes for pickling.

Test fitted Aeroquip 816 on -6 hose... works fine with adequate lubrication; will keep the fittings I have

Got engine mounted on mount with vibration isolators using M8 80mm cap bolts and metal hex nuts. Torqued to 45mm thickness which should be 10 lbs/feet. Got the tip from the homebuilthelp.com install DVD. Impossible to get a torque wrench on to the nuts. Had the mount already mounted on the FW and tried to mount the engine to the mount... could not get the last rubber isolator on even with Angie's help and the other 3 somewhat loose. Pulled mount off of FW, mounted engine to the mount, then mounted the mount back on to the FW. Much easier and got it done.

Finish pickling engine by filling cylinders with oil from a squeeze bottle.

Next...begin fitting the cowling and fabbing the blisters for clearnace on the UL engine
