Brief Description:  Transfer Drilled Top Skin to Ribs

I spent a good bit of time verifying that the stabilator jig was level and square before I started drilling. Also spent time reviewing the drawings and fitting the parts before drilling.

Transfer drilled #40 and clecoed the top skins to the stabilator ribs. (Step #19 in the Text Manual). Before drilling, verified that the centerlines marked on the ribs were visible through the holes in the skins. I started at the rear spar and worked my way toward the front of the stabilator. This would guarantee that there would be no "bubbles" since the front edges of the skins are not anchored.

Marked the ends of the stabilator (where the stabilator tips install at a later step) with a Sharpie to remind me not to drill out those holes to #30 yet.

Marked the skins with left and right top and bottom so that they will not be confused when the stabilator is disassembled for deburring and edge polishing.

Flipped the stabilator over so that I could work on the bottom side. Spent some time leveling and squaring up the jig. Verified that the trailing edge of the stabilator was straight with a stretched string. Verified that the stabilator frame was not "twisted" by checking the level on each end of the jig.
