Brief Description:  Modified Stabilator Plates

Modified the stabilator plates as indicated in step #13 of the Text Manual (page 02B-2). The areas shown in Figure 02B-13 were tapered with a file. After tapering, the stabilator plates were smoothed and edge-polished to remove any rough edges, Note that the flanges on the bottom 2 stabilator plates "point down" when installed. This observation was necessary to know which side of the stabilator plate areas should be tapered. The tapering allows the aft skins to transition better where they overlay the stabilator plates.

Step #14 in the Text Manual says to cleco the stabilator plates in place on the center section of the stabilizer. This step is not exactly clear, as there are no holes on the bottom of the stabilator that the bottom plates can be clecoed to... I clecoed the top stabilator plate in place, using those holes that aligned (note: no holes drilled in the front spar yet!).
