Used a bench sander to bevel the edges of the spar bar spacers so that they fit nicely into the spar and betwee the spar bars. Verified that the spar bars were pressed up against the bend in the spar. After Image #2 below was taken, I taped wooden 1x2 blocks to the spar and spar bar spacers to hold the spar bar spacers in plcce. NOTE: The spar bar spacers fit snugly into the spar, but not too snug as to spread apart the flanges of the main spar. See Figure 02B-08C for details.
