Assembled the stabilator frame on the bench using #40 clecoes. Referred to Figure 02B-06 and drawings in the Parts Manual for Stabilator Frame Assembly #1, Stabilator Frame Assembly #2, and Stabilator Frame Assembly #3. I thought that the Text Manual was not as helpful here as it had been on the Rudder and Vertical Stabilizer. NOTE: My kit was delivered with a Stabilizer Hinge Support (Inner) part # KPHS0048 that had 10 holes drilled. The drawings show 8 holes. I was able to reconcile this difference by referring to the RANSCLAN forum. The drawing is in error and should have shown the 10 holes and 10 rivets. Made corrections to my drawing. After verifying proper assembly, transfer drilled all holes #40 and clecoed.
Transfer drilled the bolt holes in the hinge angles (8 places) with a #11 bit. See inset in drawing for Stabilator Frame Assembly #1, page 02B-01 of the Parts Manual.
