Brief Description: Added Shims to VS Forward Rib #5
I was not pleased with the way that the forward skin layed down over forward rib #5. So I added shims to both sides of this rib.
Fabricated shims from raw aluminum sheet and drilled them to align with the holes already drilled in the ribs. Used a 2-part epoxy adhesive to hold the shims in place.
Re-fitted forward skin to the forward ribs and verified that the foward skin fit much better after addition of the shims.
