Brief Description: Prepare to Install Forward Skin
Using strapping tape (I've found that this works much better than the masking tape as suggested in the manual), taped the leading edge of the side skins to the forward spar.
Drew a line on the forward skins 3/8" back from the forward spar. This line is located directly in the center of the flange of the forward spar.
Using files, I rounded the sharp points on the front edges of the front ribs. I used a round file to "round out" the inside surfaces so that there were no hard edges--all were smooth transitions. This filing process was later repeated as I needed to remove more material when fitting the forward skin over the forward ribs.
