Finished my worktable on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. It took me about 3-4 days to build. The top surface and lower shelf are 3/4" MDF. The frame is all 2x4s. All fastening was done with deck screws, so theoretically, the table could be completely disassembled and moved. As is, it is very heavy. I am so glad that I decided to design the table with casters. I used the 4" rubber ones from Lowe's. The table rolls very smoothly around the garage. I also finished the edges of the MDF (to prevent chipping) with 3/4" moulding. Lots of fun building this table!
