Brief Description: XPNDR install and panel prep (42C-05)
I am definitely jumping around here. Back to section 42C to install the transponder and pre the main panel. The transponder was cake to install and the panel just needed some deburr, countersink and prime the back side. I’m going with the carbon fiber look on the panel, so I’m not planning on counter sinking the outside holes. I’ll slide a thin nylon washer under each screw to keep it from scratching up the vinyl covering. Again, I used the countersink bit in an electric screw driver to slowly inch up on the right depth for the rivet holes for the reinforcement angle and plate nuts.
