Brief Description: Attached bulkhead fuel line fitting (28-06)
I jumped ahead to section 28-06 after reading some info about this being a convenient time to install the fitting, since the access is so easy. It was still difficult even to see how much I needed to file the washer down. I ended up filing it down, then marking the bottom of the washer (opposite side if the filed down side. Then when it was installed I looked to make sure the mark was down. I also had to make sure I got the orientation right. The picture in the manual has you installing it with the fuselage right side up, but I had it upside down on the table. It's still fairly tight to get a wrench around the nut and you can see the flange got bent a little in the picture, but at this point I'm happy with the results. I agree, it would have been much harder later in the build...now back to section 21-15
