Brief Description:  Flight Testing (PAP-F2)

Well it was a cold morning (26F) and overcast most of the day, but it opened up later in the afternoon. I new I needed clear skies to get to 10,000 ft today. The agenda included marking take-off distance with 1/2 flaps (~520 ft), which lines up with the POH tables. I also executed a climb at 75 IAS to 10,000 ft and the plane flew great...incredibly smooth air. After that it was some speed calibration box runs at cruise and slow flight and some stalls. Everything performed right on the numbers. I even got to do a redline decent, where it got a little cold in the cabin. I was shivering as I got to pattern altitude. I removed some of the foil tape I had blocking the oil cooler and the oil temps were much better today. I can't wait for another clear day to get back up.
