Well it was a stressful pre-inspection day, with trying to get everything prepped and access panel removed and looking over all the paper work. I moved a table into the hanger and brought my printer, in case I had to print out anything. I downloaded everything onto an external hard drive in case I had to go through the pictures in more detail. I went over everything on the plane and went through the instructions to see if I had missed anything important. Well, after almost 5 years….actually 4 years and 11 months, I completed my first airplane and I am now the proud owner of my very own, airworthy certified airplane. The only hiccup during the inspection was I had forgotten to install the cotter pins for the main gear….yeah, probably going to need those. It was easy enough to take care of on the spot. There are a few more things I want to do before the first flight: synchronize the carbs, check the ELT and get the transponder inspected and signed off….and wait for a nice day :) Happy day!
Inspection complete...Thanks to Joe FAA
She's finally done and inspected...let's go do some flying
