It was another beautiful fall day here at Warren County (I68) and It was time to see what the final weight would be. I have most of the options installed (lights, auto pilot servos, auto pilot panel knobs and ADS-B in/out, and map box). I only have one EFIS display, but I did add the heavy duty nose gear. I’ve primed most of the interior areas of the plane and painted the cabin area….I would have been happy for anything under 750, but I was even more pleased with 738 lbs. I think I worked off a few pounds myself trying to get it over to the maintenance hangar, so the towed it back for me after it was done. These are the official numbers Weight: Left wheel Nose wheel Right wheel 289.0 149.0 300.0 Distance from axle center to leading edge: Left wheel Nose wheel Right wheel 24.0 39.6 24.125 Empty Weight: 738 lb Empty Moment: 59933.1 in-lb Empty Arm: 81.21 in Next, I need to get my paperwork in order and schedule the inspection.
