Brief Description: Install nut plates on spinner plates (47-05)
To install the nut plates on the spinner plates I had to remove all the pieces of the propeller and spinner components. I match marked everything so I could get it all in the right position. I went through my collection of nut plates and found 18 plus 1 that were all the same style. Over the 5 kits I received it seems that there have been some changes in the K1000-08 plate nuts. I used the plus 1 as a template for all the drilling. I tapped out the threads so I could easily install a screw to position the nut plates. After that it was just a matter of drilling the #40 holes and countersinking, then setting the rivets.
