Now that the edges have dried I sanded it down until it had just a little overlap. Then I slowly took off small amounts of the edges until it fell into place. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but the new edges fit really nice to the edge of the spinner. I probably need to give it a little more gap, but this fit is much better than previously. I may mix up some more resin and coat the edges a little to give it a smoother finish. Ignore the cowling resting up against the spinner in the pictures....it hasn't been secure at this point.
