So with the spinner holes drilled and clecoed in place I was able to mark the overhang and sand it down to be flush with the spinner plate. I also spent a little time trying to get the blades in the correct position to sand the spinner slots and gap fillers correctly. Unfortunately I had removed too much material from the slots, so now the gap fillers have too much gap around the edges. I’m hoping with some flox and resin I can fill the gap a little and make it look better. Otherwise I get to start all over with a new spinner. For now I’ll try to make it work with what I have.
