TThere is a lot to be said to looking ahead in the manual to see how things should be routed. Well I encountered an issue when I noticed that the pitot line should go through the engine mount structure as opposed to over top. This wouldn’t have been too big a deal except I had several wires zip tied to it, including the A2 & B2 wires. Oh no…those were so a pin to install the first time. I debated on calling Vans and asking if over the top would be ok vs. trying to fix it. I thought about how am I going to get those wires back out of the connection blocks. Well after much debate I thought I would try to fix and make it right first. As it turned out it wasn’t that big a deal. With the help of my son who pried a tiny little tool into the connector (A2) with very little effort I was able to pull the wire out. Once we did the same for B2, I was able to re-route everything underneath. I feel much better now. Now I can secure the pitot line to the tube.
