I added some more resin/flox mixture to some low spots and filled in the edges of one of the bolt holes. The fiberglass created the shell, but it was still foam around the bolt head. So in order to fill in the edge around the hole I removed the bolt. The fiberglass still seemed fairly well stuck to the sides and didn't seem to move, but overnight, without the bolt holding it in place, the fiberglass came loose. So I went ahead and removed the whole canopy, with the help of the family.
