Brief Description: Locate bolt hole through fiberglass (34-15)
I marked the theoretical hole location by lining up the template and used my dremel to router out the center, which didn’t exactly fall on the center. I was able to locate the bolt and start to round out the hole to clear the bolt. I only had a ¼” diameter router type bit, which was too big to go around the bolt head, but I got it close, then finished up with some sandpaper. I kept enlarging the hole with the sandpaper until I could get the socket in. Works great, but I’ll need to come back and fill it in with some flox and resin to make it look more finished. Right now it’s just a hole through the fiberglass shell.
