Brief Description:  Fiberglass Layup (34-14)

I followed the RV-14 video recommendations, which was to lay down some plastic food wrap and oversize the cloth, coat the glass with resin (using the spreader), then lay down another layer of food wrap. Once the glass is sandwich between the food wrap then you can lay down the template and cut the glass to final size. It is easy to move around and it holds it shape. Then you just peel off one side of the food wrap and apply it to the canopy frame. For the first layer, I made extra effort to get it right up to the tape across the top, but not overlay the tape. This technique worked out really well. I can tell already that I will need to add some filler where it sunk into the cavities, which I expected.
