I covered the kitchen table with the paper that the rolls of fiberglass came in. Based on what I read online...rolls is the way to order the fiberglass, so it doesn't have fold lines. I ended up with just enough glass, but I think it would have been better to have some extra. The rotary cutter worked great, although the plastic parts didn't like the acetone very much...still works fine. I would have also liked a bigger cutting board (36" minimum if I were to do it again). Also don't stack all the straight strips on top of each other...they get caught up in each other and come apart so easily. Supplies: - West System ratio pumps - West System epoxy kit A-2 slow - Wiss industrial scissors (wife wasn't about to let me use her sewing sisors) - 2 yds of 1.8 oz Dacron fabric (way more than needed) - 3 yds of Rutan 8.8 oz bi-directional (just enough) - 1/2"x3" alum roller - Meguiar's mold release - 1oz black pigment (plenty, used for the1st layer only) - 3 dynatron spreaders - 36" aluminum ruler - Fiskars rotary cutter - 3M vinyl tape
