It's always an adventure. I as working on installing the micro switch and I tried to screw in the top screw through the threaded portion of the latch hook, but it wouldn't go completely through. So I figured the hole in the roll bar was supposed to be threaded, but I must have missed it. So without going back to read the directions I just decided to re-tap. With the roll bar support it was difficult to twist the tap and of course it broke off...almost flush. With a little patience and effort with some really thin needle nose pliers I was able to work loose the tip of the tab. Phew...emergency averted...so I thought. Well I still had this tap and only the tip was missing, so I thought I would try it again...this time I would be more careful...yeah. Well you guessed it, it broke again, this time completely flush. I tried everything, short of nitric acid to remove the tap. Next and final option was to remove the latch hook (note the now unpainted rivet heads). This went better than I dreaded, but I finally got it installed....small victories.
