I had some left over paint from last weekend’s painting effort, which I put in the freezer last weekend. I've not tied this before, but I heard if you stick the paint in the freezer that it will slow down the chemical reaction of the hardener. So after less than a week in the freezer it was still liquid, so I set it out on the table to let the sun warm it back up to room temp. It seemed to work just fine. I had painted the side rails last weekend, but the surface seemed a little rough for the interior, so I thought with another coat I could get a better finish. I taped up everything else on the canopy frame and wet sanded the surface with some 800 grit, then some surface prep cleaner. The paint went down nicely and now the interior rails look a little smoother…I figure people will see this when there are along for a ride. The rest of the interior is not as nice, but will have to do.
I also found some cardboard pictures (actual size) of the Dynon panel, so I taped those to my panel. Now I'm ready to attach the canopy.
