It looks like I'm done traveling for a little while, so now I can get some more work done on the plane. Today I started fabricating the canopy lift handles. I used my dremmel to cut pretty close to my lines, and then I finished sizing it with the file. To get the correct/consistent radius for the corners I used the extra bushings that were left over from the plastic canopy struts. This worked out well to draw the radius lines, and then I just filed them down to the lines. Once the edges where all smooth I drilled the first hole and lined it up to drill the second. They seemed to have turned out nice...now back to the canopy and frame.
