With the canopy removed I was able to attach the guide plates. I just sort of lined them up with the top edge and tried to eyeball center it in the guide blocks. It seemed to work. I still get the canopy skirt hung up when I close the canopy, so after I get everything installed I may have to tweak the skirt edge a little to get the canopy to close without any hang ups. Next I think is painting time. I want to remove the back turtle deck to also paint the seat belt attachment points (which I forgot last time). The Sis missionaries were over so they wanted a picture so they could remember this crazy guy who was building a plane in his garage.
