It's been too cold to work with the plexi-glass, so I've been trying to do everything else. Today I finished up final sizing the strut holes and setting the rivets on the frame. It seems odd that they are already welded, but 5 more rivets need to be added. My guess is that this takes some load off the welds and this was an adjustment based on lessons learned from previous designs. I also filled down the crass bar middle weld so it wouldn't interfere with the canopy. I need to paint the whole canopy frame, but I'm trying to figure out when would be the time...I want to wait until I've added all the pieces and attachments.
