Brief Description: Flaperon bell cranks & flap handle (32-07)
I spent the first part of the day installing the bell cranks. I went ahead and glued in the washers to make it easier to install the rod ends. Next was to assemble the flap handle, which had a few parts that needed to be deburred. I will probably come back and paint the detent assembly, but for now I just assembled it and final sized the pushrod. It sticks out a little proud, but its close...good enough for now. Everything works fine, but spring force is a little much. I opted not to cut back the spring for now...also the flap handle scrapes the detent plate...it works fine, just sounds bad. I need to think about what I can do to improve it and keep it from scraping.
