The front tire assembly was fairly straight forward, except the plans call out washers under the nuts and bolt head, which are not part of the Matco assembly, so I went without. Also the plans don't mention anything about the included step washer and nut (silver color). So I hoped on line and it looks like several people had the same question. Per the Matco website, it looks like they recommend installing the washer and nut right on the tube. The hole in the wheel will allow the nut to fit in the hole. I'm not sure what purpose this serves, except to maybe center the valve stem to keep it from hitting the side. For the main wheels the recommendation is different. They want you to clamp the tube into the wheel with the step washer and nut. It took some pressure to push the stem out enough to catch some threads, but I was able to make it work. Finally I had a question about the red and pink dots...looks like red it the right one to line up with the valve stem...not sure what pink is for. I don't have the right grease, so I ordered some Aeroshell 22 and should be here early next week.
