Good news & bad news...good news: the #12 hole in the roll bar was already added (sweet), bad news: I had to drill out a rivet and final size it to 3/8 on the roll bar mounting plate. Wouldn't this have been easier at an earlier point in the build? Step drill bit and drill just fit underneath, so it all worked out. Note the snap bushings called out in the plans don't match what I had in my inventory. So I used a SB 375-4 instead of a SB 375-3 as called out, but I'm not sure the SB 375-3 would work (internet search shows the -3 version has too small a hole for the 1/4 tube. I can't believe it, but this section is finally done. Next up is flight controls (section 32) but that means installing the wings and tail feathers, which I don't think I'm ready for yet. So I think I'll start on the landing gear (section 35)...get this thing on its feet.
