Brief Description: Group wires and add shield (31B-25)
Remember about how I split the wires on either side of the rudder pedal mounting blocks...well now it's fixed, except my back is not. I had to completely remove all the mounting blocks and slide the assembly out to re-route the wires. Hint: route them all on the left side from the beginning. I had to crawl under the panel to get in there with the seat wedge jammed into my side. With the help of my son Benjamin, I was able to line up the bolts and re-install the mounting blocks...only to realize I had to slide the shield over the wires. So again I loosened all the bolts and slide to drop the pedals down enough to slide in the shield. That worked, but then I had to slide a screw up under the panel, between the two pedal assemblies all blind. So I figured if I lay on my back, with the seat wedge driving into my back I was able to view the crew (upside down) and get it lined up with the hole. I'm sure there is a better way to do this, but I couldn't figure it out. Anyway it's done. Next, I went through the rest of the wires and zip tied and cleaned everything up as much as possible.
