Brief Description: Panel and top skin in place (29A-11)
It was a crazy busy week at work, so not a lot of progress on the plane, but I did manage to finish up the last of the fuselage steps (minus attaching the tail cone). I tapped all the nutplate screws on the top skin and around the instrument panel (6-32), which helped with not going through so many screws due to chewing up the head.
I also dusted off the rudder pedal assembly and installed the pedals. I had to crawl back into the plane and get my wife to help out, but we got it back in there.
This wraps up the fuselage kit, except for the tail cone, which I have postponed for a little longer. I see there's a bracket I need to install, that would be much easier with the tail cone off, plus it's the plane fits better with the tail cone off. I think the next section is going to require me to put it on and I'm looking forward to see it more like an airplane. Next looks like wing attachment, so that will be fun...I hope.
