Brief Description: Pulling off the fwd upper fuselage skin
Ok, I applied the sealant as directed and I applied the boelube as a release agent as directed, but it still made a pretty good mess and still stuck very nicely to the upper skin. I think I’ll leave it as is, since it will be a matched set (lower and upper) and should seal nicely….plus it’s underneath, so it’s not visible when installed. I guess if I were to do it again I would use a better release agent (maybe car wax as well as boelube) and use an even smaller bead of silicone. It will do the job as is for now.
