Brief Description:  Install canopy ribs & oil tank assembly (29A-06)

I added some fuel tank sealant to the bottom flange and clecoed the canopy ribs in place. Then came back and riveted it into place. I chose to put the shop head on the bottom, in case my knee might hit it. This works except for the last rivet (closest to the firewall), which needs to have the shop head on top due to the position of the longeron.

The oil tank assembly took some creative riveting to get together. I started with the F-1201F and a kept the shop head on the aft side of the fire wall (instrumentation shelf side), which is different from all the other rivets on the instrumentation to fire wall. I think it's the only way it can work. Next I attached the sides, F-1201E-R then F-1201E-L. For the lower rivets along the fire wall shelf I riveted with the shop hear up...I'm thinking I should have done it the other way, because there isn't much room to pull the rivet without marring the bracket, but it was easier than crawling into the plane. For the aft fire wall I kept the shop head facing aft (reaching into the fuselage to pull them). The rest of the rivets we fairly easy and now it’s done.
