Note: these next few logs are documented over several days, but actually took place all on the same day (primer & paint). After re-painting the interior I went ahead and grabbed some other pieces to paint. I spent a lot of time today cleaning and re-cleaning paint guns and special thanks to my wife for running to the store to get me some more ratio buckets to mix paint in. At his point I’m now into my second quart, but I think that will be plenty to get me through all the pieces of the interior (seat backs, fuel tank, tunnel covers, turtle back skins, etc.) and still have some left over for touch ups later on. It also helps if I paint the right side of some of the tunnel covers (look closely at picture 2). It turned out very nice…too bad it’s the bottom side.
