Note: these next few logs are documented over several days, but actually took place all on the same day (primer & paint).
More pictures of the completed primer. It was tough to get a full size gun in position to hit all the surfaces. I'm sure a mini gun would be better for some of these areas, but I only have the full size guns, so I'm making do.
I also sprayed a test piece with my interior color. I went to Home Depot and grabbed as may grays as I could find then held them up to my seats and picked one that looked the best (according to me). Battle ship gray (BEHR) was the choice, then I had my local PPG paint store (Smyth in Mt Caramel, OH) match it up. I'm using PPG Concept (DCC) Acrylic Urethane with DCX61 hardener and generic reducer at a 4:1:2 ratio). The test piece came out nice and the paint appears to be very tough stuff.
