I spent the last several days cleaning off the Marhide rattle can primer off all the exposed interior surfaces. This is so I can properly prepare the surface for the interior prime and paint...most likely PPG concept system. I removed as much of the components as possible to allow access and minimize masking. Next is to build a booth, mask and prep surfaces. I also tried to finish up sealing the firewall, but it wasn't too long before I realized the sealer was still too runny to work with and I ended up making a real mess. Most of the holes just dripped down. So I waited a couple hours and tried to go back and fix my mistakes now that the sealant was a little thicker. Any way it's done for now. I'll hit it again later when I seal the upper skin and instrument shelf.
