After a lot of research and not much actual progress, I went ahead and made some decisions. I went with the Devilbiss Cam2 dry/filter and rigged it up with some bypass valves. This way I don't have to run my air through it unless I'm painting, which I hope will make the filter last longer. I also added a drain, but since I run my compressor in the basement, I'm thinking most of the water will end up in the tank. I also purchased a Devilbiss starting line gun set at the local paint supplier shop. They gave me some sample paint to try it out on. I may still need to get a detail gun for some of the small areas of the interior, but will try this first.
