Step back in time a little bit to section 28, where the gascolator has been waiting for some safety wire for a while now. The Milbar twister I ordered from ATS was on back order so it took a while before I could complete this section. It also took several practice attempts and 3 tries to complete the safety wire on the gascolator screws. Not too bad for a beginner...I'll get better with time. Next is to complete the safety wire for the seat backs.
I also took the opportunity while my parents were visiting for Stephen's high school graduation, to add some parts and hop in the plane.
Follow up lesson learned: there is a DG6 Adel cushion clamp that gets installed in section 49-04, which supports the Oil Tank overflow line. This is a real bear to install witht eh engine and everything else in the way, so my recommendation is to add it now and then feed the line through it later. You may have to open it a little to get the hose in, but bolting on the clamp is so mush eaier at this point in the build.
