Brief Description: Attached side hinges and antenna shelf (29A-03)
Clamped the side hinges in place, drilled, deburred then set the rivets. I went ahead and set the solid rivet on the nut plate as well. I also painted the antenna shelf with some high temp spray paint from Auto Zone. I did a couple of test pieces with different colors and it seemed durable enough and the cast iron looked the best. I thought seriously about trying to do my own powder coat, but this was cheaper. I also tried white, thinking it would match the powder coat parts from Vans, but after my baking test it just turned a yellowish tan color...so I decided on 'cast iron' look.
