Step 2: Clamp up the angle in the drill press and drill #40 in the center hole only. The smaller drill is easier to control and doesn't tend to walk as much. It was fairly easy to get it to cut right into the center of my marking. Hold off on drilling the other two side holes.
I supported my angle in the vice with some left over nylon piece, but wood would work too. Just make sure the angle is clamped in place and that it's perpendicular to the drill. It sometimes wants to twist as you clamp it up.
