Brief Description: Left step floor attached (21-19)
I prepped and primed the underside of the step floor, then clecoed in place. It was a challenge to get some of the rivets in, so I took everything apart and reamed the holes to final size, then clecoed everything back. The back flange was a little challenge, but I have a long #30 drill bit that worked to clean up the holes enough the get a rivet in.
The fwd nut plate that goes under the bulkhead and floor was a challenge to get in place. My hand is too big to get through he lightening hole, so I use a piece of tape on my finger to hold the nut plate to my finger and reach through the hole. That worked really well. I had high hopes of completing section 21 today, but ran out of time working on my son Stephen's scout eagle project, which is now complete.
I'm done with work for the rest of the year, so hoping to make some progress over the holidays and get a bunch done before the finishing kit arrives in mid-January.
