Brief Description:  Wing tip light fiberglass work (40-08)

I first put the wing upside down on my work tables and polished the surface with several coats of cax wax as a releasing agent, but it was extremely difficult to remove. I thought for sure I was going to break something trying to pry it off, but more on that later.
Once the surface was prepped and I added the clay to the bolt hole region and covered the area. I probably added too much, but I figure I can sand it down after word. I also put some tape over the rivet holes on Wing tip, thinking that would prevent the fiberglass mixture from going into the holes. It seemed to work fine, but I'm not sure if that helped or hurt in terms of getting it loose after it set up. I used the West system, 105 resin with 206 hardener and I had plenty of working time. I used the flocked cotton fiber to thicken it to thick oatmeal consistency...then I waited 12 hours to set up.
